Vintage Japanese Bicycles
Posted: 06/28/2009 Filed under: BIKE | Tags: hand made, Japanese bikes, vintage, work bike 1 Comment »I used to see these hand-made bikes(Sekine, Marubeni Yamaguchi, Eiryu, Mizutani, Maruka and more) in Japan all the time as a kid. Everything (tofu, noodles, ice block, etc…) came on these work bikes. However, as Japanese got richer and lazier, many manufactures could not ride the wave of Japanese modernization.

This year, BANDAI will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of GUNDAM by building a highly detailed GUNDAM RX-78 in Tokyo. I will be there for sure this summer. Check out these progress photos.
